How to use the exercise files
- [Instructor] If you have access to the exercise files for this course, you can download them to your desktop, as I've done here. Inside the folder, you'll find folders for each chapter. Inside of each chapter folder, you'll find files for each video. If the video uses material images, you'll find those in that chapter folder as well. I've included a folder called x2017. This folder contains Revit 2017 version files. Inside the folder, we've broken it up by chapter as well. You'll find the same files for each video. If you're working in Revit, and you have troubles displaying a material that should be rendered, you may need to adjust your render material library. You can do that through the File tab, go to Options. Under the Rendering tab, you can add a network location. Here, you can click to add a path and click and browse to the material folder of the exercise files. Click on MatLibrary and click Open. Now the next time you open your project, you will see the material rendering for this wall. If your membership doesn't provide access to the exercise file, that's okay, you can still follow along with your own assets.
Practice while you learn with exercise files
Download the files the instructor uses to teach the course. Follow along and learn by watching, listening and practicing.
