Importing an image file

- In this video, I want to walk through the process Now, Revit supports a few of the most popular image files format and it also supports PDF files if you have the full version. If you have Revit LT, you won't be able to bring a PDF in. I'll bring in both a PNG file and a PDF if you're in LT you can follow along with the PNG but not with the PDF. Now, I'm taking a break from the restaurant project here for this example, and I just have a default architectural template loaded so you can open up any project you happen to have but that's really not the important to the task. Let's go to the insert tab and here on the import panel So let's start with the image button: I'll select this scan file which is a PNG you can see down here the other file formats that are supported, and I'll click open. I'll click anywhere to place it and you can see the file comes in rather large so we are going to want to scale that, but you'll also notice that there's a little bit of a skew to it from the…
