Importing and linking a CAD drawing

- [Instructor] So we're staying in our New Commercial Building_2021 Revit file, and we're in the Level 1 floor plan. So we're working with this restroom here, the one above rather than the one below. And they're to the left of Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3. Now, what we need to look at here is how we import and link our CAD file into our Revit project. As part of that lower level workflow up to our industrialized construction. Now, what you've got to bear in mind here is that everything is in Revit 2021, you can't use it in older versions of Revit, but also, more importantly, your CAD file is flat and you're working in a floor plan of a 3D model. So basically you're placing a flat plan on the floor of the restroom and it's then indicative. So what would happen is it allows you to then see the positioning of the Revit elements that you've got to put into the restroom to develop your Revit model. So let's have a look at that…
