about electrical outlet fixtures. Now what I have here on screen is two versions of a wall duplex outlet and the ones in red are the out-of-the-box family. I've just colored them red but this is a wall-hosted electrical outlet fixture. And the ones in blue is a custom one that I built that is actually a face-based wall outlet fixture. If you were to zoom in closely, other than the color you can see that they look largely the same. Now, this is what it looks like in a 3D view and it's not uncommon for electrical outlets like wall plates or light switches or any kind of electrical fixture that's wall mounted to display its correct size, shape and location in 3D views and in elevations. But when you look at them in floor plans and I've got a level one floor plan here and let's zoom in and take a look. You typically, want to show a symbolic representation instead.
