- [Voiceover] OK, sometimes we just need to bring in AutoCAD. If all else fails, we can go back to what worked for the last 20 years. What we need to do is we need to make what's called a drafting view. So, I wanna go to my View tab and I wanna click on the Drafting View button. For the name, all caps, call it connection. For the scale, luckily, it's gonna be an inch and a half. Scale value is one to eight. Remember when you used to have to do that in AutoCAD? Click OK. Now, this is a blank view. We can draw lines here, we can insert components here, we can do whatever we want. But what I want to do is go to the Insert tab and I want to click on Import CAD. Never link a detail, always import the CAD. Click Import CAD. Scroll to where you're keeping your exercise files. Now, for the colors, instead of preserve, I want to go black and white. For layers, or levels, I like to just do visible. Import units, we're gonna have to auto-detect this. For positioning, auto center to center pretty…
