Introduction to object styles
- [Instructor] The Object Styles tool establishes line weights, line colors, line patterns, and materials for the Object categories and subcategories of modeled, annotation, and imported elements in a Revit project file. In this exercise we'll use Object Styles to quickly adjust the graphic display of several categories of Revit elements across multiple views. Let's get started. Open the 01_01 Exercise File. If you check your Project Browser you should be in 01_01 Object Styles sheet. Here we have four views, we have two plans, a 3D view, and a section. We're going to use Object Styles to control the visibility of several categories of objects across these views. To access Object Styles click on the Manage tab. Your icons may look different than mine. The icons in Revit adjust based on the resolution of your screen. Come over to the Settings panel and look for the Object Styles icon.
