Laying out interior wall systems
- [Instructor] Let's jump inside the building now. The objective of this video is to lay out some interior partitions, and see how dimensioning can help control the wall placement. In Revit, under models let's go open, I'm going to grab my 0204 model. I'll click open, of course, if you're just following along, just stay in the same model you have open. In the project browser under floor plans, let's make sure we're in level one. On the architecture panel click the wall button. Click the type selector dropdown, scroll up until we find, let's go with interior six and an eighth inch partition, two hour. For the location line, let's set this for finish face interior. I'm going to zoom in on this corner right here and I'm going to pick this point. Notice that my wall's in the wrong orientation, if you hit your space bar, it will flip it into the correct orientation. Now just bring it down to this wall right about here,…
