Locating walls
- [Instructor] In this video we're going to use the wall tool to actually do a building layout, so we're going to focus on a very simple task here, we've got this two bedroom condominium layout that we're going to start working on, I've already created the exterior perimeter so we're going to focus on some of the interior partitions and specifically on the left hand side of the plan we're going to add some bedrooms in the accompanying spaces. To get started we need the wall tool, so of course you can find it in the architecture tab or you can type WA, and then the only setting we're going to change is the wall type that we're using so here on the properties palette, from the type selector, I'm going to click that drop down and choose interior four and 7/8ths inch partition, if you're working in imperial units, and if you're working in metric units we're going to choose interior 123 millimeter partition.
