- [Instructor] This week I have an interesting slate-style roof to share with you and this comes from a good friend of mine, Brian Mackey, the self-styled Revit Geek. He and I were speaking the other day and he shared this technique with me, I guess he had a client that needed a slate roof and they were talking about different ways to do it. He showed me this and I thought, hey that's really cool, I can show that this week to all of you here in the tip. So it's actually fairly simple to build this. This is just a sloped glazing. So if I hover over this here, this is the completed version here. You can see there's a sloped glazing element there which is just a roof, and then these horizontal members that are the slats if you will, or the slate elements, those are just mullions, and there are no panels here. So what I want to do is just kind of blow this thing away, and just build it again from scratch here. So I'll start…
