- [Instructor] In this video I want to address a topic that come up a lot in building information modeling projects at some point you will be faced with the question is this thing worth modeling? And there are things that you could model and then there are other ways you could represent them and sometimes it's difficult to decide which way you should go. Now there's certainly a school of thought that says that in building information modeling everything should be modeled and we should build it exactly the way it will really be and there are arguments in favor of that but there are also arguments against that for certain kinds of things because sometimes it's simply not worth the effort that you have to put in or the amount of overhead that's expended or the graphics might not look right or a variety of other things so I don't expect to solve this discussion or this debate here in this video that's not my aim I just simply…
