- [Narrator] You're going to run into many situations when you are working in Revit where you have to decide whether or not something should be modeled or not. Now, if you watched the previous video on reveals, and you are working on a brick building, then you might be tempted to say "Well reveal is the solution then for any brick detailing including things like control joints and so on." And, while that is technically correct, a reveal can accurately represent those kinds of things. It may not always be the best choice for the job. So, I've got a view here called "Reveal" and I've got two different examples of a reveal to kind of illustrate my point. So, right here we have a larger reveal. This is a brick reveal and it's the width of an actual brick. So, that might be some sort of an architectural detail that we want to emphasis on the facade of a building.
