Modeling drain pipe
- [Narrator] Drain pipes often require routing that cannot be altered. Therefore, in most cases this pipe takes precedence in terms of field coordination. In this video, I'd like to add a roof drain and route some sloped piping. Let's jump into Revit. Under models, let's go open. I'm going to grab zero one zero six. And click open. Okay. Now let's go up to our roof plans. We can go to mechanical. We can use our HVAC roof, or if we have a plumbing plan, we can make a roof plan for that too. For our mechanical roof, let's right-click on roof. Let's duplicate view. Let's click duplicate. Now, roof copy one. We'll call it roof plumbing. Hit enter. Now, for our roof plumbing plan, I want to scroll down til I find view template. Instead of mechanical plan, I'm going to click that, click plumbing plan, and click okay. Now, if we scroll down to plumbing, here's our roof plumbing. That doesn't show any duct work…
