Modeling the sofa back
- [Instructor] The next part we need to draw will be the back of the sofa, and to accomplish that task we need to draw an extrusion. First though, we need to go to the project browser, and then go to the left elevation view. Zoom in to the back of the sofa, and the very back of the sofa will be against this green dashed line. Go to the create tab, select extrusion, make sure that line has been selected, then down at the base of the sofa, click the intersection of these two dashed lines. Draw a line that comes straight up and that's flush with the top of the arm. Come across about nine inches, then click. Now the next thing we need to do is create an arc on the back of the sofa, meaning the back of the sofa will sort of come up at a gradual arc until it reaches the top of the sofa. To accomplish that we'll select the start end radius, then click right where this curve on the cushion is located at. Then draw an arc, which is about this shape, and click. Next select on line, draw a line…
