Modeling the sofa base
- [Instructor] Let's draw the base of the sofa, and to draw the base of the sofa we need to use an extrusion. So go to the create tab, then select on extrusion. Make sure that line has been selected, move your cursor to the inner section of these two dashed lines, and I'll zoom in a little bit. As you zoom in, you'll start to see dimensions, start your line one inch above this dashed line, so it's one inch above the ground. Click, draw a line that's 10 inches long, click, zoom out, come across, click, draw a line that's 10 inches down, then draw a line that comes over to the end point of that first line that you drew. Next, click the big green check mark. Now we have something which is very close to the base that we need, now let's take a look at it inside of an elevation view. Go to the left elevation view from under the project browser, this is the base as it currently looks, and what I'd like to do is pull this base back. Now I'm not sure just how far back the base of the sofa…
