Modeling a wall sconce

- [Instructor] Let's make a real fancy wall sconce. You don't have to be an architect to model one these by creating a revolve at 180 degrees I'd like to show you how to make a wall sconce. In Revit to get started under families let's go new. Let's scroll down until we find generic model face based. Then click open. Okay in this family I'm not even going to make any parameters reference planes. We're just going to model a wall sconce. So, on the create tab let's click the revolve button right here. So basically we want to do half of the profiles. So I'm going to start right about here. I'm going to come up about a foot. I'm going to come in about a foot, zoom in a little bit on it. Maybe come down a couple inches like this. Now I'll click my start and radius arc button right here. I'll come down about four inches at a 45 degree angle. Pick a point.
