- [Narrator] This week I'd like to talk about some techniques you can use to get light fixtures centered in a ceiling grid. Now, of course, the issue comes into play when you're dealing with light fixtures like these that don't fill the entire grid. Obviously, it's not really an issue when you have these big troffer lights here, because you can simply go to Modify, and use your Align tool to align directly to the grids and the edges of the light fixtures, so it's pretty easy to get those in the correct location. But when you have light fixtures like this, and I want to center it in the grid tile, then it's gonna take a little more effort. So, there's a couple of techniques you can use. One method, of course, is you can use an equal dimension, like this over here, so if I select this light, go to Create Similar, place it on a face, so I can get on this ceiling.
