Modifying beam systems

- [Voiceover] As you can see, we clearly have a problem right here. What I'd like to do in this video is figure out how we're going to cut these beams back and frame it in so someone can get some deck around here. Because if we look down through here now, we see that's not gonna be a very good elevator shaft at all. So let's go to level two, structural plan. I'm gonna zoom in here, and there's a couple different ways we can set this framing. The first way I'm gonna show you is go ahead and select your beam system and click on edit boundary. Now I'm gonna click my pick supports button, then I'm gonna offset it six inches. I'm gonna offset up six inches, over six inches, down, and then over. I'm gonna type t r for trim, then I'm gonna trim these out. Now I'm simply gonna click on finish edit mode, hit escape, and it's gonna cut my beams back. The problem is, these don't have much to frame into, they're sticking into the wall, but what I'd like to do is add some framing in here. So to do…
