Moves with Nearby Elements

- [Instructor] This week I want to talk about a really simple constraint mechanism that's actually been in Revit for quite some time. It's called Moves With Nearby Elements. To demonstrate, I'll go to a floor plan view, and I'm zoomed in on this small little space here that has a table and chairs and a small, low-height wall right here. Now to illustrate the feature, it's a simple checkbox. When you enable it, what will happen is the object that has the feature turned on will then establish a relationship with the nearby geometry around it, and when you move the nearby geometry, it'll also move the object. So, let me demonstrate. I'm going to select this wall, and I'm going to move it. And notice nothing happens to the table. So let me undo that.
