- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to learn how to create an isometric drawing of our building by utilizing two separate views to display our building design as if the building were split down the middle and rotated to show the inside as seen in the image here. We'll utilize a section box to crop our view, and control the graphics of both views with a view template. Let's get started. Open the 04_02 exercise file. If you check your project browser, you should be in 3D View, 04_02_3D_View. We're going to add a section box to crop our view down to the atrium in the middle of our building. From the Properties menu, scroll down under Extents, and checkbox Section Box, click Apply. Revit has added a section box around the extents of our model. The easiest way to crop this down to the atrium is in the top orientation. From the view cube, select Top. Now you can select the section box, and using the blue control arrows, you can drag your section box in to the center of our building…
