Navigating views (zoom, pan, and rotate)

- [Instructor] Mastering good view navigation is important in any graphics program and Revit is certainly no exception. So in this video we're going to talk about the different ways that you can navigate the views within your Revit projects. Now the easiest way to navigate your Revit views is to use the wheel on your mouse. Now if you don't have a wheel on your mouse, it's time to go out and purchase a mouse with a wheel because it is invaluable for zooming, panning, and in the case of a 3D view like the one I have here for orbiting. So to use the wheel to zoom, all you have to do is roll the wheel either up or down to zoom in or out. Now wherever your mouse is, that'll be the center of the zoom. So you don't have to actually select anything. But if I just move my mouse over here by this dormer and I roll the wheel, notice that I'm zooming in and out relative to that dormer. If I'm over here next to this railing and I zoom in or out, I'm zooming in or out relative to that railing. So…
