- [Instructor] This week, I want to discuss a few new enhancements to the Path of Travel tool. Path of Travel was introduced in Revit 2020 and 2020.1 introduces a few enhancements to the Path of Travel tool which makes it a little bit easier to use. So, the Path of Travel tool is a really simple tool that allows you to plot two points in your model and then it will find the shortest path between those two points, and you could use this for a variety of analysis reasons in your projects. But any time you want to try and find the shortest distance between two points, this tool can help you to do that. Now, the way it works is you go to the Analyze tab and you have your Path of Travel tool feature right here, and then it will prompt you for a start point. So let's say I want to start here in the far corner of this bedroom right here and I want to figure out what the shortest path was to the exit right here.
