- [Instructor] In this video, we'll learn how to use the color property to create a paint material. Then, we'll apply our new material to walls and floors using the system family structural properties and the paint bucket tool. Let's get started. Open the O2-O2 exercise file. If you check your product browser, you should be in the 3-D view O2-O2 paint. For the purpose of this exercise, we're going to use Sherwin Williams liquid blue paint. A quick Google search for paint RGB, and we can find several sites that allow us to find the RGB color of our paint. I'm going to use match easy RGB. From here, I can click find similar colors. I can pick the collection that I'm looking for... and type liquid blue to look for the paint color that I'm using. If I click compare, I get the RGB value. We're going to use this value to add the color to our material inside our Revit. Now let's create our material. From the manage tab, click on materials.
