- [Instructor] It is fairly common to paint a textured surface, surfaces like CMU, concrete or wood paneling have a distinct look when they're painted. This look is actually pretty easy to make as a material. However, there are several available methods and each produces slightly different results. In this video, we'll look at three methods of creating a paint material that appears to have been applied to the textured surface of a bench. Let's get started. Open the 02_06 Exercise File. If you check your project browser, you should be in 02_06 Concrete Bench 3D View. Here we have four separate families. The family on the left side is our control bench. We're going to use this to compare our three different methods as we work through them. I've added model text so that we can remember which method we used. Select the bench above Color and Bump.
