- [Instructor] Now that we have a model that has geographical site information, we can move these coordinates to any other model. Although we do have the site information, we're still lacking the actual building placement, rotation and finished floor elevation. The objective of this video is to locate a Revit model onto a site and publish the coordinates. Then we're going to create a true North site plan in the architectural model. Let's get started by jumping into Revit, under models let's go open. I'm going to grab my site model. I'm going to click open. I have a predefined architectural model. I know it's a big rectangle but that's fine. Let's go to the insert tab on the link panel. Let's go to link Revit. Browse where you're keeping your exercise files. In chapter one, I have an architectural model. For positioning, let's go auto internal origin to internal origin. This almost doesn't matter but I like to use…
