Putting view templates in control of your views

- [Voiceover] Today, I wanna talk about applying a View Template directly to the properties of a view. Now you may be aware that a View Template is a collection of display settings that you can apply to any of the views in your project, and so with a single command, you can apply a collection of settings, whether it's Visibility/Graphics, or scale, or level of detail. So View Templates are a very powerful way to manage and potentially enforce office standards. If you apply them directly to the view properties, then they actually become like a permanent setting of that view, and your users will not be able to modify the properties of the view directly. The only way they'll be able to modify it, is to go to the View Template. So let's go ahead and take a look at how that works.
