- In this video, I want to introduce you to the Revit home screen. Now, I'm showing you the way Revit looks when you install it for the very first time. And as a consequence, I've got this little message over on the right-hand side where it says "Hello there!" at the top, and it's greeting me with the opportunity to follow through this wizard that will set up my user interface for me. Now, if you're not seeing that message, it's perfectly fine. You can actually access all of the things that it's doing after the fact in the options dialog, and I'll show you where we can do that. But since I have it displayed right here, since it's the first time I've installed Revit on this machine, I'm going to go ahead and click start here and show you what this looks like. So I'll click start and then it will ask me to select the disciplines that apply to me. So I can pick one or more of these. So let's say I wanted architecture…
