- If you watched the previous video, you may have been surprised to see that when I placed the column grids, I just sort of eyeballed them into the various positions that they're in, I didn't spend a lot of time getting them into some precise location. And that's actually one of the fundamental behaviors of Revit, this idea that we can sketch in the positions of things and then, as more information becomes known, we can fine-tune the positions of those elements. Now you've only seen the first part. You've seen the sketching in the positions. In this video, we're going to look at the second part of how to fine-tune those positions now that we know more information about where this column grid ought to be. And I like to refer to this as sketching and modifying, or progressive refinement, I use both descriptions here.
