- [Instructor] This week I'm going to revisit what may already be a familiar topic to you but, sometimes it's worth revisiting these basic topics because you can forget if you haven't used them in a while. Selection is a very important part of what we do in Revit and if you can select things efficiently then that goes a long way towards you being able to more quickly and efficiently be able to make whatever modifications you need to make to your projects. Being able to control your selection is an important part of that. The feature that I want to look at this week then is the selection toggles. So the selection toggles allow you to globally toggle on and off the select ability of certain kinds of elements or change the way that selection behaves for certain kinds of elements.
