Roadmap: Calculating occupant loads

- [Instructor] In the previous chapter, we built a workflow that collected information stored in Revit parameters. Then we reformatted it in Dynamo to create new pieces of data, which we then wrote back to the Revit project. In this chapter, we'll apply a similar concept to another example, performing occupancy load calculations. To keep things familiar, we'll continue to work in Revit room elements in this example. But this workflow will apply just as easily to other Revit categories. If you tend to use areas instead of rooms to manage occupancy data for your projects, you can still use this workflow. In fact you can use this kind of workflow anytime you need to make updates to a series of parameters values or migrate data from one parameter to another. Before we get into the software, let's talk about what occupancy calculations are and why we do them.
