- [Instructor] If you are a project manager or a principle of a firm, you might not have ever had the opportunity to learn to use Revit, but you're still required to set a scope, schedule, and budget for the project. This can be overwhelming, which is why you're listening to this course. Sadly, there isn't a magic bullet, and, no, your profit margins will not skyrocket through the roof. But you will find you have happier clients and a higher quality product, with the right management. With BIM, especially newly-minted BIM teams, managing the scope, schedule, and budget has unique challenges. Early in the adoption of BIM, the industry approached the concepts of front-loading with fear, and this is still the case, many times. In the next few slides, we will be reviewing some revised MacLeamy curves, produced by an architecture firm out of Seattle, Washington.
