Setting up room fill color plans
- [Instructor] With our custom parameters all set, we can now start using Revit as the database that it is. The objective of this video is to create a brand-new view. Then we're going to add a color coding scheme to the floor plan. The color coding, of course, will be based on our shared parameter. In Revit, under Models, I'm going to go Open. Going to browse to where I'm keeping my exercise files, grab my SYRACUSE_HEALTH_ARCHITECTURAL_03. Let's click Open. Let's make sure we're in 00 GROUND FLOOR in the project browser under Floor Plans. Now, let's right-click on 00 GROUND FLOOR. Let's go to Duplicate View. Let's Duplicate with Detailing. That way, it keeps all of our room tags and everything. Right-click and rename the ground floor or you can just click on it and then soft-click it and then you're into it. We'll call this 00 GROUND FLOOR, all caps, CODE COMPLIANCE PLAN. Okay.
