Setting up worksharing
- [Instructor] When we need multiple people in a project, we want to set up the model to utilize work sharing. It's quick and easy to do. The objective of this video is to create a central and local model. Under Models let's go Open. I want to grab my 0109 Mechanical, click Open. Now what we need to do is go to the collaborate tab. There's a couple ways to do this, I'm going to go first to the collaborate button, just to show you everything. So click on collaborate, now I want to collaborate within my local network, click OK. It doesn't appear as though we've done anything, but let's click the Save button now. Save file as central model yes we want to do that, so let's just click Yes. Now notice that the save icon is grayed out and our synchronize with central is now active. What we want to do is we want to go to our work sets dialog now.
