Space schedules
- [Instructor] So the MEP equivalent to a room is a space, because this serves as a different function. See, with a space, we can pull in the room name and number, but we can also pull in loading information, such as CFM or lighting calculations. Under Projects, I want to go to Open. Browse where I'm keeping my Exercise Files and I'm going to find Electrical. I'm going to Open that up. Let's go to the View tab, and under Schedules click the dropdown and select Schedule/Quantities. This time, let's scroll down to Spaces. For the name, we can make that all caps here. Let's call it SPACE SCHEDULE and then we'll click OK. Look at all the different fields that we have available. I want to scroll down until I find Name and Number and add those. I'm going to grab Number and move it up. Now instead of Spaces, notice that we can Select available fields from so if we click this dropdown, let's select Room.
