Tagging elements in views for sheets
- [Instructor] We're staying in our New Commercial Building_FINAL.rvt and we're going to have a little look at just tagging some elements in our sheets and our views, purely to communicate design intent again in our industrialized construction project. Now, the sort of things that you might want to tag are things like doors, windows, perhaps even elements such as furniture, and in our case rest rooms, sanitary ware and all that kind of thing as well. Now, I'm just going to look at the doors here of Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3. Now, at the moment I'm in a sheet view. Ideally, you want to be tagging in the actual view that is in the sheet. So I'll expand our A100 - Level 1, and there's our Floor Plan Level 1 there, I'll double click, and that takes me into the actual floor plan itself. You can move around using the tabs here at the top, like so, if you want. There's Level 1 there. Or you can just double click on Level 1…
