- [Instructor] Architectural documentation includes all kind of tags. Now we've already gotten a brief look at tags when we added the room elements and they came in with room tags automatically. But in this video what I want to do is tag some of the other elements that haven't automatically tagged on their own. So I'm going to focus on things like the doors, the windows, and the walls but you can tag just about any kind of element in a Revit project. Let's go ahead and choose the tag commands. It's going to be up here on the quick access toolbar and it's tag by category. You can also get there on the annotate tab, tag by category and the keyboard shortcut is T G so any of those methods will do the trick. Now, this is a really simple command, you just simply hover over an element and click and it will place the tag.
