- [Voiceover] In this movie I'm gonna talk about shared families. Now, in last week's tip, I briefly touched on shared families, and talked about some of their features, and thought it would be appropriate to do a more complete tip on shared families here today. So, let's look at some of the more important aspects and features of shared families. Perhaps the most common occurrence of shared families is what we see right here with this table and chairs. What you have is an overall family, I'm gonna select it, that's called table dining round with chairs. Nested within that family are a number of chair elements. Now, if I highlight one of the chairs and press the tab key, I can actually reach right into that family, and click to select the individual chair, and I can actually do this with any of the chairs that are in here. Those are all nested shared families. Now, when I have it selected, I can see its information over here on properties, but it's all grayed out. I can't edit it…
