- [Narrator] Not too long ago, I did a tip here in the series about aligning section lines to line up with geometry in your model. Well, it turns out that this is actually a new feature now in Revit 2019.1. So, the method that I showed you in that previous tip is no longer necessary, if you have the latest release of Revit. If you don't have Revit 2019.1, you can keep doing it the same way I showed in the previous tip, but I do recommend that you check out 2019.1. It's actually a great new release. Okay, so what I'm going to do is zoom in over here, and I've got this angled wall. And, when you first create your section, it may or may not be lined up with that geometry, right? So, now it turns out that all you need to do is go to modify, go to align, select the item you want to line up with, like this wall, and then anywhere on the section line, and just like that, we've got it lined up.
