Using the Displace Elements feature

- [Narrator] Three-dimensional views of our building designs pulled apart can be a powerful communication tool to describe the composition of the building. In this video we'll learn how to create an exploded isometric similar to what you see on the screen here by using selection sets and displaced elements to isolate portions of the Revit model and displace them from their actual location, creating an informative presentation graphic. Let's get started. Open the exercise file 04_01. If you check your project browser you should be in the 3D view 04_01_Exploded iso. What we're going to do is pull up the majority of our building away from the site, exposing the basement. I've premade selection sets and added them as filters so we can toggle on and off portions of our building to make this exercise easier. If you go to visibility graphics on the filters tab, uncheck box visibility of site. This allows us to select all the elements except for the site and the basement elements. I'm going…
