- [Instructor] This week I want to share with you a simple example of something I've been running into a lot, I've been building a lot of family content for clients and you get the basic family functioning properly and then you need to create several variations of it. So I've got the Conference Table built here and it's got a few flexible parameters in it, but now I need to create lots of types. So in this case this Conference Table wants to have 10 different types, we want to start with the smallest type, which has only six chairs around it, going all the way up to a much larger type, which has a total of 24 chairs. And we're going to have several instances in between, so there's going to be a total of 10 of these. Now I could go in and do this work manually right here in Revit. And just to show you the parameters in this family I could select the family, go to Edit Type, at the moment you can see all that we have is the built-in type that gets created automatically, so there aren't…
