Using the Properties palette

- [Instructor] This video we're going to look at the properties pallette. You're going to interact with the properties pallette on a frequent basis both when you're creating new elements, and when you're modifying existing ones. So it's a good idea to get familiar with the properties pallette and how it behaves. Now let's first start with where the properties pallette is. By default it's on the left hand side of the screen directly above the project browser. Now yours might be in a different location. It could be below the project browser, it could be on the right hand side of the screen. It might even be on a totally different monitor if you have two monitors attached to your computer. It's very common for folks to move where these various pallettes are located. If you don't see the properties pallette on any of your screens, then what you want to do is go to the view tab over here, click on the user interface dropdown, and make sure that properties is checked.
