- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now, and we're going to discuss a little bit of Revit philosophy and how the methodology works, but more importantly, how you can take advantage of that when you're working with industrialized construction methods in your construction processes. Now, Revit is perfectly formed for this because what it allows you to do is work with a 3D model, but with a 2D interface. And that's where Revit is really rather clever. Now we've got a new file for you. It's called new commercial building underscore 2021 dot RVT. It looks remarkably similar to the one in the introduction videos. It is, it's just got a slightly different file name. But what we're going to have a little look at is just how Revit can be utilized really quickly, and really easily.
