- [Instructor] So we're going to continue with our stair landing detail and I've got my components already placed on my detail call-out. And now it's time to just begin positioning them more precisely. And I need to make some copies of the stair tread here and I could just use the basic copy command, but I want to do this a little bit more intelligently. I'm going to use the array command, because the array command has built in parametric qualities. And what I mean by that is whatever parameters you build into your array, will be remembered by the array. And then later you can just manipulate those. So, whether it's the quantity, or the spacing, or the orientation of the elements in the array, you can adjust all of those things and it will update all the instances.
