- [Narrator] Revvit is creating relationships and behaviors for us. And there are several instances where we can actually create our own constraints. Now constraints are like building a rule into the model that helps us maintain our design intent. And so what I'd like to do in this video is just show you several different examples of constraints. So I'm going to start off up here on the right-hand side of the plan, and let's just consider this door right here. Maybe I want to maintain the distance of that door to the column line that's nearby. At the moment if you were to move this column line it has no impact on the door. So I'm going to undo that. So what I'm going to do is create a dimension using the aligned dimension tool and I'm going to pull it from the quick access toolbar here or you can type the keyboard shortcut DI.
