Using extrusions

- [Instructor] So now that I have my family named, the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to start out with my first tool. My first tool that I'm going to use an extrusion. And remember, extrusions are profiles or enclosed shapes, and it can be any shape whatsoever, that is then grown and it's going to go into the y-axis. So I'm going to click on extrusion and then from here, remember, we're drawing the bin to our bookshelf so we're going to go start with a certain size. And we're going to go with just a rectangle. So I'm going to start out at my origin point. Now wherever you choose to start out at this origin point, just remember where those two axis meet is where your mouse is going to be when you place this into the file. So you can move this around, you can make a decision if you want to have it some place else later. But right now I'm going to use this as the bottom corner of my box.
