- [Instructor] In this video let's talk about snapping behavior. Now snapping behavior is a very common feature that you see in many graphics and CAD programs, that just allows you to draw with precision without having to type in very precise numbers. The system will automatically snap to set increments or set geometric points and so on. So Revit has both increment snapping which is relative to a grid almost, and object snapping where it's looking for key geometric points on other geometry. So let me demonstrate both of these. So the first thing I'm going to do is right click here and zoom out two times. And I'll start off by showing you the increment snapping and I'm going to use the wall tool to demonstrate but this works with any Revit command so it's not limited to just walls.
