Using snaps

Using snaps

- [Narrator] In this video, let's talk about snapping behavior. Now, snapping behavior is a very common feature that you see in many graphics and CAD programs that just allows you to draw with precision without having to type in very precise numbers. The system will automatically snap to set increments or set geometric points and so on. So Revvit has both increments snapping which is kind of relative to a grid almost and object snapping, where it's looking for key geometric points on other geometries. So let me demonstrate both of these. So the first thing I'm going to do is right click here and zoom out two times. And I'll start off by showing you the increment snapping. And I'm going to use the wall tool to demonstrate but this works with any Revvit commands. So it's not limited to just walls. I'm going to pick my first point of the wall command. And it says zero there on the temporary dimension because I haven't…
