View depth line styles

- [Instructor] Revit has a built in function called view depth line styles. This function will graphically override the line weight, pattern, and color of elements that fall within the specific zones of a view range to an associated line style. In this video, we're going to look at how this feature functions and now it relates to Revit's other graphic override hierarchy. Let's get started. Open the 01 05 exercise file, in the project browser you should be in floor plan 01 05 view depth line styles. We're going to start by overriding all the walls in this view to be red. Go to the visibility graphics dialogue and scroll to the wall category. Under cut lines, we're going to change the color to red. Click okay, click okay again, one more time to apply the change, and now all the walls in our view are red. In the properties of our view, if I go to view range, I have several options.
