- [Instructor] In this video, I want to explore view navigation specifically, zooming, panning, and orbiting in 3D. So with zooming we're going to change the magnification of the view. Panning, we're going to be able to recenter the view and with orbiting in 3D, we're going to be able to change the vantage point that we're looking at our 3D model from. So the easiest and quickest way to do this is to use the wheel on your mouse. So if you simply roll the wheel up it zooms in and you roll it down it zooms out. Now, in addition to rolling the wheel to change magnification you also want to think about where your mouse pointer is. Because wherever the mouse pointer is that controls what portion of the model will stay visible on screen. So in other words, let's say I wanted to focus on this corner of the parking lot right here.
