Viewing a design option in 3D
- [Instructor] Any view that's affected by visibility graphics can have design options associated with it. What that means is that you're not just limited to viewing your design options in plan view. You can view them in elevation views, section views, even in 3D views, as long as it has visibility graphics associated with it and you have design options to display, you can view those design options in that type of view. As an example, let's create a camera view showing the inside of our dining room area with two different design options available to us. To create the camera view, let's start by going to the View tab on the ribbon, select on the words 3D View, then clicking on Camera. Now spin the middle of the mouse and let's place a camera right about in this location. So just click. Then have this cone go outside of the building. Now anything that's inside of this cone of view, that's what we'll display as part of our 3D view. Now click here. Now we can see here inside of the space,…
