- [Voiceover] In this video, I want to talk about a few of the useful properties of walls. I want to talk specifically about location lines and also look a little bit at wall type properties. Now to help us do that, we also need to understand the concept of levels of detail. So I've got this really simple box here and I'm going to go to this floor plan called Detail Levels. And that's going to zoom in on the upper left corner of that little box and show us the intersection of the two walls. Even though these walls are drawn very simply here in this view, it actually turns out that these walls are comprised of several internal layers of material. So to see those internal layers you have to actually change the setting in the view. So let's start with that. On the view control bar at the bottom of the screen, next to the scale pop-up, there's a small little white square. The white square indicates that we're in Coarse level of detail.
